A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS FAVOUR!

Please consider sending a quick note to your local Member of Parliament, reminding him or her that KEITH VAZ MP was the subject of a recent Sun on Sunday front page article alleging Mr Vaz's involvement in serial paedophilia, sexual predation in a youth mental health institution, and possible witness intimidation -- this is separate and in addition to recent cocaine allegations, and innumerable historical financial corruption allegations. (See: http://vips.wikia.com/wiki/Keith_Vaz)

Please simply ask your MP to liaise with ANDREW BRIDGEN MP (who is leading the campaign to have Mr Vaz suspended from the House of Commons as unfit for public office), Leicestershire Police (who reportedly had Vaz under investigation last year over allegations of "very serious criminal activities"), and the new Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards, Kathryn Stone, who just temporarily suspended her investigation into Mr Vaz "because he is too ill" (Ha! What a bad joke).

Thank you for helping us to ensure that this remains a "live issue" in Parliament. After a number of sudden deaths and foreign migrations of parliamentarians, we may well be running *against the clock* to ensure that Press and MP allegations against Mr Vaz are properly investigated by the Police and Parliamentary authorities...

Thank you and Merry Christmas,

Survivors of child sexual abuse

What a mockery of racism. Integration achievable. Just... with accepted compromise. Interesting press about; https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/1.810582
Year's been full of fakery with upshot and bluster about Islam. Blame the patsy and talk of people's cultural and social divides. Let em all in -vs- kick them all out. Blame the religion. Often loudest or prominent voices all PC-pretend one way including, insipid mainstream mush. Or, we get, bang on about UK etc. no-go areas. And project on, another overstated vision. Plenty to avoid late-night inner-city. Although depends on who and/or relationship to area... but yes, vulnerable to a mugging. Multi-racial muggers though, with post-code alliances. Tribal ethnic gangs yes, but ain't all about radicalised-M's. OK, back to this vid: small shoots of hope. Cause for reaction. Cheers up. Do hope they teach them to stay off the mobiles etc. Peace to them and young ones.

Asia Times writes of how Marina Mahathir, eldest daughter of former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, is the champion of a major initiative on Muslim women's rights, and against the 'arabisation' of Islam in SouthEast Asia

In particular, she has been organising and mounting very detailed textual analysis of the Qur'an, to argue that the more fundamentalist koranic interpretations are not correct

Her progressive intentions, and the resolve to maintain the more tolerant cultural attitudes of SouthEast Asia against Saudi propaganda, are very laudable

Tho it may be that such textual arguments are ultimately tragic ... because the fundamentalists often have the better claim regarding some texts, there are indeed some very ugly things in the Talmud and Bible and Qur'an, and one can only get around them with rhetoric that is devious and jesuitical

What is better, is the predominant view of Hindus, and Buddhists and Daoists etc, that no text is binding and holy, they are all written by humans, and therefore subject to flaws ... what always has primacy is conscience and experience, and if the texts clash with what you deeply sense is right, the texts can be ignored, jettisoned, critiqued, rejected
